Unfortunately no. We have an application process that each applicant must go through. Only chosen applicants that have paid deposits may visit their pups after 4 weeks of age.
We are currently feeding Farmina N&D Pumpkin line for our adult dogs and pups. We feed a combination of wet and dry to ensure our pups receive adequate healthy grains throughout the day. Our Cavaliers tend to be sensitive to high-protein diets and grain-free options.
After you submit your application, it will be reviewed within 24-48 hours. Once your application is reviewed, you will be invited to a Zoom meeting to meet with me, our dogs, and current puppies, if available, and to answer any questions. The interview lasts roughly 40 minutes. Interviews are scheduled around your busy schedules so please let me know the best times to schedule if possible.
Puppies have an anticipated go-home date after eight weeks of age, pending the results of their health certification with their veterinarian. Should this date be changed, all applicants will be notified in advance.
Sit back and relax while you can. We understand a new puppy can be very exciting, so we continually update you with pictures and videos of your puppy. We also hope you are preparing for your new bundle and should schedule your new pups first vet visit shortly after pick up.
We place all pups on one-month Brevecto for flea & tick prevention 1-2 weeks before going home. This way, they are protected in your home until their first vet visit with you.
Our puppies are trained using grass pee pads and/or potty pads. Season permitting, we like to introduce our pups to outside elements starting at four weeks old. This way, they get used to the sights, sounds, and feel of the ground as they learn to potty outside. Many of our pups will ask to potty outside by seven weeks old.
Great question. Since your pup is not fully vaccinated, stopping just anywhere along the way home could be detrimental. Careful planning for the safety of your puppy must be considered. Should your pup need to potty on the way home, look for an out-of-the-way grassy area for your pup to use, and DO NOT use a rest stop, rest area, or any other area other dogs congregate.
